Thanks Atavist, your perceptions about the shoot were correct. There was a lot of positive energy going around that day. It was the first shoot Kink and DeviceBondage did in the Armory and the whole crew was excited. As for being a money pit, possibly not. You see, the Armory is already zoned for Production Distribution and Repair (PDR), meaning that as long as we don't try to engage in an activity that doesn't fall within the approved uses for a PDR zoned building, we are under no requirement to rehab the place at all. Since film production is an approved use, we are good to go. That said, I know that the company has plans to gradually restore the Armory to its former grandeur as resources permit.
